Action Agenda

  • Special Provisions, Senate Bill 202 (2009-10 Budget Bill) (TCS1) - State Board members approved the actions allowed in the special provisions of Senate Bill 202 and technical corrections in House Bill 836 recently passed by the General Assembly. This action will give LEAs more flexibility to shift state funds to make best use of resources from state, local and federal sources - including recovery money - for classroom instruction and activities. The Board’s action also institutes monthly reporting on types of jobs created and saved by public school systems using federal recovery funds.
