March Race to the Top Calendar

Dear NC Teachers, 

Spring is just around the corner, and here is the March Race to the Top calendar introducing Srilatha Kancharla, the Instructional Improvement System Database Developer for Home Base. Work continues as a fast pace to develop and implement the elements of Home Base. 

Many of you have emailed and asked for clarification about what Home Base is. Here's the short version: Home Base will include a variety of technology tools to help you in the classroom. These include PowerSchool, which replaces NC WISE; an instructional improvement system that will provide lesson planning and assessment tools among others; and educator effectiveness and professional development tools as well.
