TECHNOLOGY AND ARCHITECTURE

MISSION :: The primary objective of the NCDPI Enterprise Architecture (EA) program is to encourage and support the development of business and technology architectures that drive improved planning and coordination through reuse, collaboration and interoperability across the NC Education Enterprise. The EA Program will focus on the following initiatives:

1. Development of a core conceptual model and methodologies to support the development of the enterprise architecture.
   
2. Development or adoption of useful, consistent statewide business and technology architecture standards (rules, guidelines, and best practices) withing the Education Enterprise space.
   
3. Development of reuse guidelines which address business and technology asset reuse.
   
4. Prioritizing, reviewing, and establishing enterprise wide shared applications that address common business problems.
